It's been a while....

Hello all.
It's been...what? Almost 8 months since I posted.  Well, I've been quite busy with life & school. Most of my time has been taken up by this little guy! (For some reason the picture won't upload :( I'll get one up later!)
Meet David! He's been teaching me the joys of being a mom for nearly 8 months now.

I plan on posting weekly on Wednesdays! Maybe more depending on what is going on in my life.  Let me know what you'd like to see - recipes, patterns, projects, random stuff, etc...

Valentine's day has come and gone once again.  For some it is a day of togetherness and love; for others it is a day of boredom and loneliness. How did you spend your day?

My day was spent with a crabby boss and feeling miserably pregnant.  The evening was fun though.  My husband and I made dinner together...and then went to D&D... What else do married nerds do?

I hope to never again find myself spending the day alone.  If you do I suggest finding either a hole to crawl in. Or find a friend and watch love-sucks movies together. Or go to dinner with a group of people and make all the couples at the restaurant feel awkward for being so disgustingly cute in public. :D  *please note this is all in good humor*

Blame my parents...

I've been a "trekkie" since I was a little kid.  When I was old enough to realize the guy from Reading Rainbow was on Star Trek I was hooked! (I was probably 5 or 6)  Also the episode where ST was on RR made/makes my day.

Anyways...I have found a way to help keep myself on track with my projects! I joined the Ravelry Starfleet Fiber Arts Corps... yeah... I'm a nerd :) It looks to be a fun time.  If you are interested you can follow along with "missions" and "assignments".  The next set time for joining the group (a crew) is May 2011.
